That's the one, I 've found my place in Brooklyn.
It's here, all around Lafayette,
I love it all
Walter's and its zinc counter, where the Farmer's market thrives behind the long windows,
Café Paulette, with Lionnel's grandma best tartine presentation
Elliott street cherished architecture
The blue windows and all this geometric display of shapes and shadows
The collector's secrets exhibited in random showrooms and their routine to Green Light Bookstore
The words of all people and all places meeting right here over time saying hello
The little kids signs left behind or taking your hand to know your name
The curios places, where conversations are going on around the Annex expresso machine
or in the grandiose cinematheque around the bloc,
I'm here now and I feel good.
